My 82 year-old mum was in panic when windows 10 downloaded of its own accord on her computer and made it crash.
Everything went haywire and it was only with Al’s precious and professional help that we were able to get things sorted.
Al responded very quickly and efficiently and explained things clearly. Not only was my mum totally reassured about the whole thing, but solutions were found very quickly and at a very reasonable cost. I live in France but the distance made no difference. Al kept me updated and responded to my first phone call with a return call within a couple of hours despite it being the evening. Any future problems either with my mum’s computer or my own, I certainly know who I’m calling !!! Highly recommended.

My desktop PC recently broke down on me and not knowing anyone locally to help I looked in our local business telephone directory and selected Al Findlay. I had no problems contacting him and he arranged a visit for 2 days later. He arrived on time and after opening up the PC Casing, he identified a problem with my hard drives and the amount of accumulated dust that over the years had blocked up the casing vents. He took my PC back to his workshops for both cleaning and also fitting new hard drives after first contacting me to advise on costs.
3 days later he returned a gleaming PC equipped with new hard drives and raring to go. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Al Findlay to any of my friends or family and if I was asked to rate his manner, workmanship and competitive pricing, I would give him a definite 10 out of 10. Thank you Al, you are a credit to your trade and to the East Devon Business Community.

Al Findlay knows his stuff. He has fixed both of our laptops in the last year with a prompt, professional and very competitively priced service that cannot be faulted. He inspires confidence with his impressive level of knowledge and technical skills but without coming across as a geek or blinding with science.

Just had Al round to install new computer and upgrade to Windows 7. All went very smoothly and within a couple of hours we were up and running. He also gave me advice on what to buy, prices, internet purchasing etc. and we are very pleased with the end result. Competitive rates, too. Will definitely use Al again for any tuition or problems in the future.

After an unsatisfactory and expensive visit by a nearby computer support firm I was desperate to find help. I found Al Findlay through Our Local Expert and after his call on me today everything is fixed.
I can only endorse the recommendations in other reviews. Prompt and reliable in response, he knows exactly what he is doing and does it with a minimum of fuss but with clear explanations. Add to this a friendly manner and very reasonable charges. What more can I say?

Al Findlay offers something you could not imagine from an IT / hosting company – he offers personal, human support and advice! He is proactive. He prioritises your work if it needs a priority response, and he makes a point of keeping you updated. No call filtering, no call waiting. If you don’t catch Al, leave a message and he’ll get back to you. If he says he’s going to do something, he actually does it.
I don’t need to look elsewhere for price comparisons – I’m sure I could just ask Al and he would tell me the cheapest alternatives, but Al’s prices are comparable to the cheapest, and his service is everything you could want. I’m very happy to be a client of Al’s – he provides absolute peace of mind.

For IT support in East Devon, there's nothing Al Findlay can't do!
I should know, I used to work with Al on an IT helpdesk, and I'd always go to him for advice. Everyone did!
I can't keep up with the continually changing landscape of IT, but Al does, and I now use him for all my support needs at home and in the office.
He is not only trustworthy, but excellent for giving you all the options, and for sourcing components at good prices.
