Completely re-landscaped front garden and re-made drive last year.
Derek has just completed terracing a slope, made steps and constructed a wall and patio at the rear of our house.
Fair prices, mindful of unnecessary costs, reliable and starts when agreed. Always polite,very tidy and pays attention to security.
Derek will show a portfolio of his work and provide a detailed drawing of the proposed scheme, which he is prepared to alter after discussion.
He has knowledge of materials and methods and will make honest suggestions about the proposed scheme. Would use again and recommend.

We have used D& J Services on four garden related projects during 2010. Derek Hall and his team have been a pleasure to employ. Their design and execution work is first rate as is the quality of the end product. But more than this, they listen to you and help you arrive at the right solution. They also keep you well informed as progress is made and seek customer input to those necessary small changes in a timely manner.

Derek, Paul, James and Guy have transformed our front garden and drive - we didn't realise just how bad the 'before' was till we experienced the 'after'! Their work is of the highest standard - thoroughly prepared and with every attention to detail yet Derek keeps the cost as reasonable as possible. We have a Grade 11 listed cottage and Derek has ensured that the finished result is sympathetically in keeping with the character of the property. D+J Services were honestly excellent! I’m delighted with everything they’ve done. I have a sloped garden which had been terraced (badly) with wood. D+J re-landscaped the front garden using retaining walls, and terraced my sloping back garden using wood. They got rid of all the buried rocks and rotting wood, end even replanted my plants for me. I had to wait a long time for Derek, but it was worth it!

Derek has transformed our back garden from a waste land to a beautiful and relaxing place to sit and dream.
It is an absolute pleasure to be out in the garden, especially when we remember how awful it was before it had the 'Derek' effect.
His workmanship is of the highest standard. He is meticulous and always leaves the garden neat and tidy. He listens to our garden design ideas and then contributes with a much better solution.
He is our first and last choice, why try and find an alternative when you have Derek!!

I have now used D+J Services on more than one occasion to change and improve my garden. They are adaptable, reliable, honest, can listen and discuss issues and will go 'the extra mile' to achieve satisfaction. You get an excellent job at a reasonable price. They are now my preferred garden designers and first line of call.

Derek worked with us and our ideas to transform the whole of our back garden. This included two patio areas, a pergola, raised beds and a new lawn. He transformed our garden to the point that he has rekindled our spirit for gardening again. His workmanship is of the highest standard; he was meticulous, tidy and always consulted us at each phase of the development. To say we are thrilled with the end result would be an understatement.
