How to use OurLocalExpert
We have designed OurLocalExpert.co.uk in a way which we hope is simple and easy to use. Please let us know how you find it.
There are three ways to search our listings:
1. By using the A-Z of categories and trades for your area
Do this by pressing either ‘Exeter’, ‘East Devon’ or 'Teignbridge + Torbay' from the three big buttons on your left.
2. Using the 2-field search
Do this by selecting an area (e.g. ‘Exeter’), and then selecting a category (e.g. ‘Builders in Exeter’), then press the 'search' button.
3. By free search (search box 3).
This is a completely free search within Our Local Expert, much like Google – try to type the best word matching your search. For example you could type ‘chiropodist'. Don't forget to then press the 'search' button.
As well as searching our listings, we invite feedback about all the businesses we feature. Against each business you will see the option to ‘leave a comment’. We investigate reports of poor workmanship or poor service, to ensure that we only feature quality local businesses.
We also invite our readers to recommend local businesses who should be featured on our website and printed directory. Please think of examples of exactly what impressed you about the service provided.
